April 22nd to 29th
Pitch-in Canada Week – Join 725,000 Canadians and participate in Pitch-in Canada Week! Take part in your community, organize a cleanup, educational opportunity, community beautification project, or join a local campaign. Please visit their website HERE.

April 29th (Saturday)
Pitch-in Canada Day in Claresholm in honour of Pitch-in Canada Week. Meet in the downtown parking lot at 10:00 a.m. to get your bags, gloves & t-shirts!

May 3rd (Wednesday)
“An Evening Celebrating Youth in Sport” at the Claresholm Community Centre, presented by Claresholm Minor Hockey. Beef on a Bun at 6:30 p.m. Main event at 7:30 p.m. This evening is meant to inspire parents to remember what is really important about youth sports. Please see the poster HERE.

May 5th (Friday)
Electronics Recycling Event presented by the Claresholm 4H Multi-Club at the Town Shop from noon to 8:00 p.m. For more info, please see the poster HERE or phone (403) 625-3040.

May 6th (Saturday)
Claresholm Fibre Arts & Quilt Fair at the Community Centre presented by the Claresholm Arts Society. Quilting, weaving, spinning, hooking & more! For more information, please email or see the poster HERE.

May 8th (Monday)
Regular Town Council Meeting 7:00pm in Council Chambers at the Town Office. The public is always welcome. Agenda is available HERE when it is finalized.

May 9th (Tuesday)
Rowan House Presentation at 6:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Claresholm General Hospital, presented by the Youth Justice Committee of Claresholm, Nanton and Stavely. Rowan House is a safe place of hope and healing for women and children fleeing family violence in the rural Foothills.

May 12th (Friday)
WCCHS Junior Prom at the Community Centre starting at 6:30 p.m. This year’s theme: Canada 150.

May 13th (Saturday)
Toxic Roundup at the Town Shop from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Presented by the Town of Claresholm and Municipal District of Willow Creek. This roundup is held every two years.
CAReS Annual Garage Sale at the Arena from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Items for the sale may be dropped off at the Arena on May 11th & 12th from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. For info, please call (403) 625-2461.

May 22nd (Monday)
Victoria Day – All Town facilities will be closed. If your regular garbage and recycling day is Monday, it will be picked up Tuesday. All other days remain the same.

June 3rd (Saturday)
Tailgate Sale at the Claresholm & District Museum. Set up at 8:00 a.m. and close up at noon. Cost to park is $20. For more information, please see HERE.

June 15th (Thursday)
18th Annual Charity BBQ presented by the Claresholm & District Health Foundation downtown in Amundsen Park.

June 30th (Friday)
Willow Creek Composite High School Graduation 2017 – Cap and Gown Ceremonies at WCCHS Gymnasium at 2:00 p.m. – open to the public! Graduation Banquet at 6:00 p.m. by invite only (or through ticket purchase). Grads can get 8 tickets and request for more if more become available.

July 1st (Saturday)
CANADA DAY Celebrations at Centennial Park.
All Town Facilities will be closed in honour of Canada Day.

August 11th – 13th
